Music is a popular activity within the Air Cadets, and definitely within Easingwold squadron.
Although we don’t have our own squadron band, a number of our cadets enjoy being part of the Wing’s Music Service – partaking in the Concert Band, Marching Band and even the String Quintet.
There is some opportunity for total beginners – with many of our cadets having never picked up a musical instrument trying their hand at learning the snare drum!
The bands take part in a wide variety of performances – from leading parades throughout Yorkshire, to supporting our parent service, the Royal Air Force, by providing music for the dining in nights.
